The Drum are biting with everyone reporting good catches. We still have some dates available. Flounder season has opened, so you should think about booking a trip for inshore bottom fishing. Tuna has heated up on the offshore canyons with reports of yellow and blue fin tuna being caught. So call Captain Rob for your next trip.
June 25 Captain Rob took out a family group trolling at Five Fathom bank looking for blue fish and they landed several. The kids had a blast catching the small blues.
June 21 Lenard Vickalitis group charter the boat for Jim's Shark Tournment and Captain Rob had a another good day catching alot of Brown sharks and hook up on a large thrusher but was unable to land it.
June 20 Captain Rob took out the Royer group shark fishing, they had several brown sharks, and one they fought for 2 hours and never seens as it is still out there.
June 13 & 14 we fishing the South Jersey Shark tourney, we had some nice big blue fish, but no sharks. There were no qualifing makos weighed in for the tournment.
June 9 Captain Rob took a fun trip with owner Jeff and friend Jim out Shark fishing, we landed our first mako of the year and released another. The mako was 5'6" and weighed in at an estimated 140 pounds. Captain Rob caught the mako and played in to the boat beautifully. Good Job Captain!
June 7 The Joe Brugger group went out and had several drum.
June 6 Captain Rob took out the Turner Group, they had a great evening of fishing for drum, catching several including first time catches for Jerry Richardson and Mike Cragin.
June 2 Captain Rob took the owner Jeff and a friend out on a fun trip, we had a couple of drum, but the captain had the most fun, he landed a 60 pound drum on light tackle which took him an hour to get in.
June 1 Captain Rob Took out the A&E Glass Group from Camdem, NJ and had 10 drum in the 70 pound range
May 31 Chris Lutz Group fished for Drum and had several in the 70 pound range.
May 30 Paul Strenger Group form Cherry Hill had 7 drum up to 94 pounds.
May 25, Ed Ditzel and group struggle with ruff conditions but still managed to get several drum, with his friend Gary Matyzasyek catching a 86 pound Drum. This is the largest Drum caught on the First Cast this year.
May 24, Mike, Joe II, Joe III, Pat Ryan, Bob Percy, and Kevin Jordan had a good evening fishing. Kevin caught the largest drum of the day 76 pounds. Good job Kevin!
May 23, Jack Herman took some friend out fishing Wayne, Frank P, Brian, Frank A., and Ari. They had a good afternoon catching drum up to 50 pounds.
May 22, Capt. Rob took out Tony Lagrotta, Ray & JP Lavoie, Mike Bambrick, Joe Santo and Joy Ann (Potato) Flinn Drum fishing, they had an exceptical day landing several drum up to 55 pounds.
May 21, Neil McPeak booked the day with friends, they spent the day fishing in the Delaware Bay catching a few nice Black Drum up to 30 pounds.
May 6, 2008, took out the Frank Ford, his son Tom and John Hable fishing for Drum in the Delaware Bay. We landed 3 nice drum.
May 5, 2008, took out the George Friel group fishing in the Delaware Bay for Striper and Drum. George caught his first ever drum, George is in his late 70's and you should have seen the smile on his face catching that drum. Good fishing George. We ended the evening catching 5 drum.
